These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of TripUtility ("we", "us") for your use of TripUtility at triputility.com (the "site"). By using the site you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. The service
TripUtility offers free tools for personal, informational use: world clocks, calculators and converters, currency conversion, an airport directory, and research pages for entry requirements and travel conditions. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
2. Information is for planning only
- Exchange rates are indicative reference rates, not offers; the rate you get from a bank or exchange service will differ.
- Flight times, costs and other calculator results are estimates.
- Entry-requirement and travel pages are a research aid, not legal, immigration or travel advice. They don't decide whether you can enter a country.
- Weather, holidays and airport details come from third parties and may be incomplete or out of date.

3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to keep it secure.
- You can delete your account at any time on the account page.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- disrupt, overload or attempt unauthorized access to the site, its servers or other users' accounts;
- scrape or copy the site with automated tools in a way that burdens it, or to build a competing data service;
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, using the site;
- present information from the site as official government or legal advice, or misrepresent your connection with us.
5. Your content
Dashboards and settings you save remain yours. You allow us to store and display them to you so we can provide the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the site without obligation to you.
6. Intellectual property
The TripUtility name, logo, design and original content belong to us. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Third-party data is used under its own licence, listed on Data Sources and Updates, and its terms continue to apply.
7. Third-party services and links
The site uses data from third parties and links to other websites, including official government sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices; their own terms and policies apply.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the site for maintenance or if a data source is unavailable.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the site or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why. You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time.
10. Disclaimer
The site is free and provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about its accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on the site's information, such as missed flights, denied boarding or entry, or currency losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of the site is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
14. General
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still do so later. These terms and the policies they mention are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
