Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage ("local storage") is similar but is never sent to the website's server. TripUtility uses only what is strictly necessary for the site to work. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so we don't ask for cookie consent.
Strictly necessary
These don't need consent because the features you ask for can't work without them.
- Sign-in cookie (
__Host-wcd_session): set only when you sign in, so you stay signed in. It's a random code that only our server can read (not scripts on the page) and expires 30 days after you last use the site, or when you sign out. - Browser storage (
world-clock-dashboardandwcd:rates:…): your clocks, dashboards and preferences, and copies of exchange rates that are refreshed after 6 hours. It stays on your device until you clear it.
While the site is in maintenance, the site owner may use a private preview cookie (tu_preview, 7 days). Visitors never receive it.
Advertising
We don't show ads at the moment, so there are no advertising cookies. If we add ads, we will update this page first and, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
Your choices
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser's settings; you will then be signed out and your saved clocks on that device will be removed. Blocking the sign-in cookie stops sign-in from working, but every tool still works without an account. See the Privacy Policy for more.
